True Lies

On January 30, 1948 our country lost its father. In a broader sense it has lost a visionary, who gave a direction to the nation on how it should run. He left us but left to us great ideals which would lead help us frow into a stronger nation. The most important of which are TRUTH & NON-VIOLENCE.

We talk & debate so much about gandhi even today. Debate because some of his "stratagical" mistakes have seen light, talk about him not taking the extremist way, dub him as anti-bose. Unfortunate that we dont have the entire nation admiring that man but lets get some things straight .

Truth and non-violence are the toughest things in this world that can ever be practised. Telling the truth is surely next to impossible nowadays. To a mother a 5 year old son lies that he has stomach ache just not to go to school, to a father a son lies that he needs money for paying fee but not for a cinema ticket, to a wife the husband lies that he stopped smoking, to a girl friend a boy friend lies that he cannot live without her, to a boss an employee lies that he was stuck in the traffic jam for coming late, to the people a politician lies that he is uncorrupt and to the country the government lies that all their problems will be solved. Day in and day out we lie for everything and we cannot live without lying for two reasons
1) a Lie Satisfies all
2) a Lie is easier to say

It is not that but we all fear Truth because we know the Power of truth. Truth is so powerful that we cannot even live under its rays. Life becomes very very difficult even if in one of the above cases we start saying truth. Truth is always bitter as it sometimes breaks faith, breaks belief , breaks trust and more importantly breaks hearts. So inorder to build on the above we break truth itself and live in fear. Fear to face reality.
why is it we lie? We lie because we do not have the guts to face the reality, to escape embarassment,to satisfy our ego and to take a simpler path. It all sums up to FEAR. We FEAR truth because we are full of mistakes and we are making this world into a lie.

Truth is Pure. Its like fire which can be the light for those in darkness as well kill those who play it. It is the righteous path that can lead all of us to salvation. It is divine speaking which one gets to know one's real potential and the god inside and do wonders. It teaches you life in a difficult way but a life worthwhile and which can be remembered for ages. It brings new Enemies but eventually they succumb in front of Truth. Truth hurts you instantly but also relieves you from the guilt of not speaking it (a lie makes u happy instantly but hurts u permanently in the longer run). The values and relations which one builds around truth are always strong withstanding any tremor , but the ones built around lies seem stronger but will crumble to the smallest of the quakes.

Gandhiji spoke the truth and asked us to do the same and hence we hate him. He did something throughout his life which we cannot imagine doing even for a day. Lets put our hands on our heart and rewind backward to the day on which we spoke only the truth and not even a single lie. If there is one such day in our lives then am sure Gandhi would be a proud man. For all those who hate gandhi Speak truth for a week and then you will know his value and for all the lovers start speaking the truth atleast now to prove ur love and respect. Tribute to the great man.

Celebrating India

Who makes us proud in this country? What makes us proud to be indians? Is it Sporting brilliance that really makes us proud or is it a film persona's wax statue at madame tussauds? Does it come from the rich talent we have in music or from the tycoons who are the richest in the world? Do such achievements and brilliance supercede our problems or are those a sigh of relief for us from our regular hectic? Do individuals make us proud or does the fact that they belong to this land makes us? Top 3 Things Worth celebrating in this country..

The Indian Army for the amount of sacrifices they undergo to ensure you and I have a good sleep by guarding us 24*7. Not only during the wars but always.

The Indian Labour for the kind of conditions they work in for very little money, without whose support or presence our life would surely be running into a never ending jam. Infact the country would run into one. We depend so much on them.

The Indian Village community who still stay in those villages with less than minimum infrastructure and are responsible for the food we consume and waste everyday. I earn as much asmuch in a month how much a farmer with 1 acre land earns in a year. He spends as much money in a month how much I spend on a weekend outing. I enjoy current 24*7 but he enjoys not more than 8*7. And still he works more than me and more than all of us. He does the riskiest and the most les profitable business in the worls and we exploit it . Thanks to him that our country is still Stable in economy and growth.

Do we celebrate them often? Do we remember them atleast once a day? Food, comfort and External security is guarenteed thanks to them. Do we have atleast one award or one reward in recognition of our farmers? how do we thanks our these communities who are the real pillars of the national? do we or the government really recognize them r do we take them for granted? For me its really the Greatest service they are doing to the nation and are most worthy of being celebrated in this country filled with excelling talented entertaining celebrities.

Isnt That true patriotism? isn't it the real way of serving the country? Doesnt serving the country mean serving the people in the country? Arent they worthy of celebrating every moment?

Lets celebrate india as a whole by giving them more faciliteis , improving the infrastructure, making things a bit more comfortable for the ones who keep us comfortable all the time. Lets recognize and celebrate them more often like the others.

On this note Top 5 Individuals worth Celebrating(my Opinion) :
Azim Premji
Sunderlal Bahuguna
Medha Patkar
Ramakrishna Mission
Narendra modi

Lets Celebrate True India and Indians with due respect to the individual performers.
