in this world we boast about technology, boast about sending man to the mars, boast about security, boast about science , boast about preventing things like SARS AIDS etc, boast about sporting developments, boast about missiles, boast about power, boast about our satellites and so many other things, it seems like we are living in a really perfect world without any complications with all the luxuries and comforts surrounding us

Is it true that i am a part of the same world in which this boy lives is what i asked myself when i saw this picture... what is the biggest problem that the world is facing today?? the ones that come first to our mind are terrorism , racism, drug mafia, AIDS etc... but one problem dominates all these things coz the other problems are born just to satisfy this one thing HUNGER

according to a recent united nations estimate , out of 6.7 billion people living in this world 1.02 billion people are hungry .. a number as high as the indian population dont have food to eat in this world, an even bitter fact is that a person dies of hunger related disease every 3.6 seconds in this world and the most annoying thing is that 75 percent of those dying are children.. 24000 young lives are lost everyday because of HUNGER...

yes, hunger is the biggest complication in the world, it is more complicated than fear and pain. We think fear and pain are the biggest complications because most of us havent faced hunger, hardly a day passes without eating food, but in some parts of the world there are people who hardly eat once in a week. imagine a day in our lives where we are left in a place where there is no food and water , it would be such a horrific situation but the sad thing is that the world is facing such a problem everyday.

i want to tell a real life story that happened very recently, there was a boy jst like the one in the pic. one would find him everyday near lb nagar bus stand roaming around, oneday jst like all other days he was roaming in that area and my frnd happened to be there, he was very weak as usual and nobody bothered much .. after somtime my frnd who was at the bus stand observed a small gathereing around somthing, without hiding his anxiety he went to that place to check out what had happened,, that lil boy was lying on the ground with ahalf eaten banana in his hand,, he was dead and he died of hunger. lets decide for ourselves on this , are we really that selfish that we couldnt do anything to that kid,, i think the only reason the world lost that kid was our unawareness on hunger.

HUNGER is one thing in this world that doesnt have an answer or an alternative. I really find a selfish reason to pray and thank god everyday for the food that i get and making my stomach full. we do all knds of things in this world and all the trades start and end at only one point "keeping our stomachs full" but we havent succeded in this aspect... lets join hands in this fight against hunger and prove that we are all brothers on this earth by caring and sharing for the unprivileged.

memiors of a school boy part 2

thats how his fourth birthday went and ram was eagerly waiting for his fifth not only for the party but also for his "give somthing and get somthing bigger" concept and thats how children are... and the special day arrived again after a yearlong wait.. generally the pattern of the birthdays dont change at kids level... its the same old going to the temple v go to year after year, distributing the similar candies to friends, and the boring party in d evng with the same guests and thats exactly how ram celebrated his fifth.. but the difference here was this time he himself gave away the candies at the temple very enthusiastically and this year he got a chocolate box frm his uncle ... more than that box he was glad that his chocolate-candy theory was really working..." time and tide wait for none but its seems like our happy times run very quickly and the less happy ones are too slow but the most anxious times are those wen we wait" for something like ram waiting for his sixth.. but here came the actual twist.. he did exactly the same things but missed a hatrick chocolate box that time as he dint receive one from the guests that evening... ram was very surprised as he believed in his theory and was very confused actually about what went wrong... he was expecting the bigger thing very badly but didnt get one.. den he went to the only person who could solve the puzzle in his mind and asked " momma i did exactly as i did last yr, i distributed sweets near the temple exactly as i did last year but i didnt get my chocolate box momma, i was waiting for it from a....." he couldnt complete sentence as he expressed his disappointment in d form of tears rolling from his eyes...he tried to hide them but they were even smarter as they rushed out his eyes... as always his mom was immersed in d act of consoling the child ...
after the boy stopped crying his mom explained " we should never expect anything in return for the good things we do beta"
just as his mom was about to finish her sentence the boy retorted " but momma it was you only who told that you get something bigger in return after giving something"
"yes i told that to u and that is true beta, but for your fourth birthday you didnt expect anything for the good thing you did and u got ur box.. last year also u were not expecting much..."
"yes but i was keen about whether i would get something big" the son disrupted
" you were keen but you didnt expect that you would get something, but this time you were very sure u would get something and u didnt.. beta remember this,""for the good things we do , better things are bound to happen to us, but dont do good things for getting the better things"" as u did this time, its a very good thing that u did by distributing sweets to children who do not even have a home like us. who cannot celebrate birthdays like wat we do.. who cannot buy cheetos like u do everyday and who cannot play with tazos, isnt it a good thing u did by treating them equally with your friends, how happy they must have felt wen u gave them candies , so dont expect anything wen u do good things beta.. u shud be very happy for celebrating your birthday like dis.. did u understand?"
he nodded a yes and left the room thinking more about the cheetos and tazos sentences which his mother spoke... thinkng about it he slept very quickly that day...

for his next birthday he had all the different things in his mind that his mom told him but wen he saw the children near the temple he forgot everything.. this time he gave away sweets very happily and he also recommended cheetos for them. the difference was that there wasnt a party at his home that day so he too dint expect anything but he was really happy because for the first time he realized that he was doing a good thing and "when you really feel that you are doing somthing good the happiness makes you forget your expectations". so it was a great happy for him at school, as soon as the auto man dropped him at his gate in the evng he found a new thing before his door and as wondering who the awaiting guest inside his home was.. we he went inside, it was his dad waiting with the keys in his hand waitinf to give them to his son... that was the best surprise gift he got till then," the superbike" of every kid

a new "bicycle"

the moral of the story "better things are bound to happen but dont wait for them"

and an even important thing

"u can expect the unexpected things that mite happen for the good and bad things you do, but never their magnitude, so its better off not expecting

memoirs of a school boy... part 1

now i want to narrate a story and i hope it'll make some sense.....

i know of a boy called ram right from his childhood, he was a very naughty boy when he was a kid ,as all mothers do, his mother used to love him very much and his dad was also very friendly... he was 3 yrs old and his parents decided to admit him into a school and they chose st andrews high school.. ram was the naughtiest boy in the class but very bright too.. his mother used to train him in his subjects in d house and he had a very good time in the school,, den one day it was his birthday , birthdays are very special especially for kids.. he started off his birthday with a great hug and a kiss from his mom and he was excited about distributing candies to his 30 odd friends in the class... he wanted to select the candies and on the way to school his mom stopped in front of a shop and they went, selected and took candies... but dis 4 yr old guy was surprised and asked his mom " mummy when there are only thirty two friends in my class why did you take 50 chocolates instead of 33?". then his mom replied "i'l tel you in a while beta", and then she took him to a temple in order to offer prayer and seek blessings from god.. after having prasadam and while coming out his mom opened the pack of candies and told ram " i have taken extra candies so that you can distribute these candies to these friends" pointing out to the less privileged ones sitting near the temple,, but ram didn't understand and asked his mom "but they are not my friends mummy and i never play with them", then his mummy told him one of the most important lines which he never forgot " u give these chocolates to these people and you will get even more chocolates back" , the boy dint understand a word his mom said , she explained again " u give something to somebody even though its very small and in return you will get something very big " , still the boy didn't understand a word but he gave away candies as told by his mother... then he went to school and at the end of a happy day at school he came back home and was getting ready to cut the cake .. the grand parents of that boy and some close family friends were invited.. once the cake was cut and the celebration started the first gift he received was from his maternal grandmother.. ram was very happy and was very curious to open the gift wrap but waited till all the others finished giving them.. later he was involved in playing with the children who came for the party .. the party was over and everyone left .. ram felt sleepy but he suddenly remembered the gifts.. other gifts didn't interest him but the one from his grand mother did... he carefully opened the gift wrap and there was a box inside it.. he opened the box and was surprised to see his favourite and the best chocolates it contained .. he was so happy and started shouting in happiness.. he ate one that day and was thinking about how many more days would the contents in the box last.. and finally before going to bed he went to his mom , hugged her with his little soft hands and said "you give something to someone and in return you would get something bigger" and then he kissed his mom good night and dozed off....

for the boy the candies which he gave to the beggars were "something to someone" and the big chocolate box was "something bigger" which he got in return...

there are two important things that we can learn from dis story
1) u give anything and in return am sure you will get something more than what u gave... let it be in terms of luck money gifts or more importantly HAPPINESS
2) this is the most important common fact " CHARITY BEGINS AT HOME"

to be continued.....

my god

today i want to write about the best thing thing tht hapnd in the world the best thing god created or say the best thing forever... i am talking about a character which knows only how to love, am talking about the only character who finds success in not wat she has achieved.. i am talking about a character whose love can move mountains and am talking about the only character who is always a part of the only permanent relationship in the world... yes i am talking about "mother".... the only emotion i think i have or the only sentiment... i am speaking not only about my mom but about mom in general.. my mom is my god and for i think 99 percent of the guys out there it is the same about thier mothers... i always wonder rite from the days v have evoluted wat makes this relation so special and so real and i found out that the secret lies in the womb and the mystery begins there... the moment the first cry comes out from u will be the i dont even know wat to call becoz the most happy moment will also be a very tiny way of experssing wat mothers feel..quoting abdul kalam in dis context"THE ONLY MOMENT UR MOTHER WOULD BE LAUGHING WHEN U CRIED WAS WEN U WERE BORN" tht explains it... and from then u have earned the best status of all that is being a child... i call it the best status bcoz ur made to feel that way under her care... wen ppl tel me about my childhood about how my mummy took care of me i dont know how to react... 1 thng every mother has in common is vision and dis vision is very important the future of every child lies on it... evry mother visualises about the thing she wants to do for her son , the things her son would do in return d way she wants her son to be n stuff... personally for me my mom is greatest person in d world( every child feels d same)... i dont want to be more elaborate on dis bcoz wat i feel is universal... i have quoted in my previous post tht the soul aim of the entire mankind is to "MAKE THIS WORLD A BETTER PLACE TO LIVE IN" and this process starts frm ur first and the best teacher... as days go by as we grow older an older we tend to get into a different world of distractions from the only world we knew once upon a time "the world of mother"and may be our mothers feel that there is a slight distance increasing... its our responsibility to make sure how much our mother means to us and by doing so we can rejuvenate our mothers and give them enough strength for a very long time.. ive titled dis post as god bcoz thats the most superlative thng word ive known tht exists in dis world after mother... id like to sign off by quoting chaganti koteswara rao garu "there is only 1 person in dis world whom u can never be thankful in ur lifetime and dats ur mom" .. lov u mom as always...
both sid n me

dancing to the tunes

From the dark clouds waiting to condense
From the gods as a saviour and a blessing
From the unending skies as a gift of nature
From the prayers of millions in need

Into the land of bankrupt peasants
Into the rivers flooding with happiness
Into the streets of the most unwanted
Into the world to cure all the diseases

The moment those tiny droplets kiss the land
The moment those tiny droplets turn into noise
The moment those tiny droplets fulfill the needs
The moment those tiny droplets halt the normal life

Then my heart pounds with excitement
Then the birds sing their favorite numbers
Then the winds roar with thirst
Then the whole world dances to the tunes of the rain

UNDER ACHIEVERS

yesterday once again as always wen i meet akil , the word wavelength often came to my mind... we spoke watever you call openhearted or straight talk sort of stuff after a very long time... I can write about so many other things or so many other people but i want to tell something about akil before i lose my flow... if i have to use one correct word to describe him it would be "UNDER ACHIEVER"... I am 21 yrs may i haven't seen much of the world but in my little word akil is d best guy Ive seen and am sure that even my unconscious talks during my sleep wouldn't let that statement down... what makes him so very different from the others is his expression of thought.. that's so good at times even an enemy would fall into the trap of his words.. another good thing is his powerful usage of the language he communicates in.. if 1 wants to know how to win an argument or how to get out with an upper hand even in the most difficult or rather what you call the unfamiliar territory, learn it from him.. very few guys have dis.. Ive lost the sequence dude(I'll come back).. I think Ive seen almost all his different phases d best and the worst but believe me even his worst phase would be a dream phase for many guys.. i call him a "self dabba" fellow but deep within my heart i feel that whatever he speaks about himself are still under rated.. he is something more than that... now u mite be surprised y is dis fellow talking about akil so much.. people call him eccentric i think or what u call hyperactive or what ever many adjectives they have in their mind about him.. so i want to just tel 1 thing that akil is in a very wrong place .. for me he doesn't belong to this common league of u n me and from that point the whole argument starts.. i call him an underachiever because he hasn't realized even 10 percent of his potential.. i firmly believed that he is cut out for bigger things or u can say better things.. the league of schumachers sachins kalams and federers(ur fb says)... these guys have entered that league with their hard-work dedication and passion and besides its their commitment which makes them different from the rest... very few people can go there and those who have that potential to be there but don't realize it are called under achievers... so its for you to decide in which league u want to in the next 30 yrs.. i would prefer the latter... u have lost your way and your in a wrong place rite now i hope u get back to your rite destination... i have written this as a wake up call for 1 person and if he still doesn't wake up den one day as a part of the common man league he would be writing the same sort of thing to other underachievers... for all those guys out there ,realizing your potential is very important because that's what drives you constantly to the only aim of the entire mankind that is to "MAKE THIS WORLD A BETTER PLACE TO LIVE IN" and only we can do that... and this is only for u akil " DON'T LET ME DOWN" and finally my brother " DON'T LET ME DOWN" because i would love to hate myself one day for calling both of ul underachievers.... il end it of with a famous quote from swami vivekananda " ARISE AWAKE AND STOP NOT TILL THE GOAL IS REACHED" love u all....
